My Long Weekend

On  gloomy, bright morning I woke up and

got ready to start the day.

At first my mom woke up and started to eat

breakfast. I watched a few cartoons until my

Rarotongan aunty woke up and asked me

to go with her to get me something.

Meanwhile we went into a Sushi shop.

I had a bowl of dumplings and another bowl with

sushi, with an Orange juice. I told her that when I was

at Manurewa I accidentally ate the wasabi.I had to

drink 7 Up to get the taste out of my mouth. I felt

embarrassed because a few people were there.

After that we went to get two boxes of

pizza and two thick shakes, caramel

and chocolate. I had the chocolate one

and Sivi had the other one. I was so

happy because the Tongan game

was coming up. My dad decorated

the house with Tongan flags, little

flags and balloons, white and red, when we got home.

At last the game was finished and everyone went to sleep.

That was the best time of my life. I felt so tired.

The Best Day Ever

On Saturday the 13th of October 2018, I woke up in the beautiful,

bright sunshine. I went to the shops in Otahuhu with my mum and my

aunty. We just bought a few things for Sunday.

Moments later we went to a Tongan restaurant run by Chinese

people. I had two crispy kebabs and only one drink. It was so

yummy because it was very crunchy and hot.

After that we went home and it was already time to go bed. So

I went for a shower, put my clothes on and went to sleep in my

room. I felt very, very tired after walking to lots of shop to shop.

I felt very lucky to go with my mum and aunty. I also felt very

happy and all hyped up for tomorrow.

I wish that day never ended.

 

The One Winged Bird

On a beautiful, keen sunset there was a little boy bird who only had one wing and

these big crows came along and bullied him. He was very mad that

he just had to run home and he left his recorder behind.

After a while he came out and got bullied again and then a girl, with two wings,

came in and stood for him. When they finished chasing her

she finally had one wing, like the boy.

Then he went to meet her, she saw him sadly, he didn’t know that

she had two wings until she got bullied, like him. He went up to her and

when he got up to her, they saw that the big

crows were looking at them for so long, they didn’t take their eyes of them.

Finally they became friends and used their wings to fly and

that made a whole bird.

Life Caravan

On Friday, Nicole taught us about human  body and to drink water everyday and also eat healthy.

We have red tubes called the Arteries, we can’t see them

because they’re buried deep under our veins. We all have

a body system that works for us to move and rest our joints or our body.

Next she got me x-rayed on the big screen about the heart.

Our heart pumps really fast if we run fast or exercise too much.

Our left lung is smaller because it is for our heart to fit in.

Then we learnt the we actually breathe out carbon dioxide and

breathe in oxygen.We always have to take care of our body.

Then x-rayed Jaydin, about our lungs and our heart.

After that we x-rayed Jasel, about our brains and how or body

parts sends a message to our brain that were going to move. If

we smell something our body

system will start getting ready.

Our kidneys wash up our blood and takes the dirts out to waste.

Sunday

On Sunday we went to my aunty’s house to visit cause my aunty

was sick and my uncle was working far away from home. My cousins

were so happy to see me and so as my aunty.

After a while they saw on my mum’s phone, something of mine and I didn’t

even mind them because they looked like they had lots of fun looking at my stuff.

Then we went to the McDonalds. Me and Sivi got the Mates Hunger Buster

and two Fanta drinks. When we got home we had to sleep for school.

I wish that day never ended.

For the birds

On one beautiful sunny morning a little bird came flying to the power line.

A moment later a few birds came to the power line and started

picking and kicking each other.

Suddenly they all saw another bird but this one is a big and a different bird,

sitting on the power pole. The little birds moved away and started making fun

of him and also called him names by whispering secretly. The big

bird didn’t even care about what they've said about him.

After a little while the big bird flew in between the little birds and the power line

went down low. One of the birds poked one of his toe a

while later there was another bird joining in. Once they made it to one

toe all the birds finally opened their eyes and saw that they are going to fly up

high in the sky. When he fell all of the little birds flew and they all lost their feathers at

the same time. When they all fell the big bird started to laugh but gave them shelter under its wings. They were all very embarrassed by their behaviour.
