PwC Financial literacy

This week we had Chris, Lyndsey, Jasmine

and Sasha come to Glenbrae School

and they are from the PwC. and they

came to teach us about money, how to donate,

save, borrow and earn. They also taught us

how keep our identity safe and

insurance. We made cards on Wednesday

and we finished on Thursday. We really

appreciate their teaching for the seniors of

Glenbrae School. We did some acting and I

was partnered up with my friend Jasel and we did

borrowing and I was Friend A and she was Friend B.

On Thursday we got certificate and

we learnt about how to minimise risk.

I had lots of learning about money, being trustworthy,

identity theft and minimising risk.

Day and Night

The causes of day and night is the
rotation of the earth and
the sun is the day and also the
star. It takes 24 hours for
the earth to rotate the sun.

Legend of Nian

Long, long ago there was a village filled with lovely people in China. There was a beastly dragon who comes every new year and eats anything that is in his way or anything he sees. The dragon’s name is Nian and he lives deep under water. Nian scared the villagers and the villagers decide to take off and take their loved ones old and young deep into the forest to hide from the dragon Nian. While they were walking they found a man. The villagers found a lot about Nian’s weakness so they went back to their village and decided to paint their houses red and post red papers and also wore red clothing. They would put on the fireworks and listen to loud music. All the loud music, fireworks and red colour frighten Nian and Nian never ever came back again.
