For the birds

On one beautiful sunny morning a little bird came flying to the power line.
A moment later a few birds came to the power line and started
picking and kicking each other.

Suddenly they all saw another bird but this one is a big and a different bird,
sitting on the power pole. The little birds moved away and started making fun
of him and also called him names by whispering secretly. The big
bird didn’t even care about what they've said about him.

After a little while the big bird flew in between the little birds and the power line
went down low. One of the birds poked one of his toe a
while later there was another bird joining in. Once they made it to one
toe all the birds finally opened their eyes and saw that they are going to fly up
high in the sky. When he fell all of the little birds flew and they all lost their feathers at
the same time. When they all fell the big bird started to laugh but gave them shelter under its wings. They were all very embarrassed by their behaviour.

Choking

On the tenth of September, 2018, we spent half of the day at school in the hall because there was visitor teaching us about First Aid and his name is Mr. Munnik from the Red Cross. He taught us about choking. He showed us a video about a little girl who was talking and eating an apple at the same time and choked. Her mother gave her 5 back blows and 5 chest thrust and repeated until the object comes out.

After that he told us a story of a little boy who had a 10th birthday and well he was jumping on a trampoline and then started to take a walk around it and fell because he choked on his sausage sizzle. Also his friend found him on the ground.

Finally Mr. Munnik taught us how to make a choking sign so that our parents or our older siblings know if were choking.

It really can help people and ourselves from choking. I really enjoyed it.

Spring is fun

Sunflowers are yellow like the beautiful, bright sun.

People are running fast and having lots of fun.

Roses grow in the deep, brown soil.

Information about nice, relaxing Spring.

Now is the time I’m about to sing.

Green grass appears in the unknown distance.

1974 Sunshine

This story takes place in 1974, in a big, old, tall lighthouse. There was an old, grumpy man who lived and worked in a the Lighthouse name Sunshine. The villagers were so happy, they left the window open so he closed it hard and at that same very moment the light in the Lighthouse went out. He got scared so he went upstairs to see what was happening, but the big, light bulb went out. When he changed it, it fell out of his hands and CRASH!

Then he was worried. He saw the big ship coming towards the huge rocks. He had an idea to get the whole village to come and help the big ship to see where it is going. They all carried their shiny lanterns.

After that the old man was so happy, they all lived happily ever after, with some peace and quiet.

Earths the best

This is Earth

Earth’s sister is Venus. Earth is where we live on and it has living things on it. It is the only
planet that has an atmosphere containing 21 percent oxygen therefore we can breathe.

It is the only planet that has liquid water on its surface. It is the only
planet in the solar system that has life.

The Earth is the only inner planet (Mercury, Venus,Earth and Mars) to
have one large satellite, which is what we see as the moon. It takes 24 hours
for the Earth to rotate around the sun for a day and it also takes 365 day for the earth
to orbit the sun.  Only about 7.442 billion people live on Earth.

It is also the fifth largest planet in our solar system. Earth's diameter is just a few
hundred kilometers larger than that of Venus.

Earth is 150,000,000 km away from the sun and it is mostly covered in
water. Its gravity is 9.807 m/s2.

It supports life, air, water and land. It is white, green and blue in colour.

Earth is our home and it is where we are born and where we die. Earth has
so much to do and there are countries that we can travel as well.

Earth has four seasons which is Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring.

It also has 12 months and that is January, February, March, April, May, June,
July, August, September, October, November and December.

Earth has clothes, shoes and food.

This is Earth and this is the Galaxy in our solar system.

Lune et l'autre

One spooky, cold night a little girl went to a well to fetch some water. She was alone and started filling up her bucket with water until she discovered that the moonlight went off and on. Then she felt her stomach flip and she also felt very, very lonely and scary because she thinks that someone is spying on her.

Then a moon monster came and spooked her very badly so she screamed and fell on the ground. Later the friendly monster picked her up, picked up her bucket of water and the little girl felt happy.

After that it was time to say goodbye. She looked in her bucket, saw the moon’s eye reflection in the water and then she smiled up at him.

Finally they were good friends and lived  happily ever after with a massive smile.Image result for lune et l'autre

Space Acrostic Poem

See the stars in the night sky
Planets are big, planets are small some can be short and some can be tall
All around me is planets and stars, but when I see the sun it is to bright
Can you see the light shining through your eyes
Earth isn’t too hot or too cold it is just right
